Care Bear Fairs
MindWorks Entertainment hosted the first-ever official Japanese Care Bears launch at The Gallery at the Parco Factory in Tokyo on April 24, 2008. Japanese TV personality and children’s apparel designer Chiaki made a special guest appearance at the exhibit, where she recalled her own childhood memories with the brand and showcased her personal collection of Care Bears. More than 20 press representatives covered this launch, garnering media exposure in Japan Variety, Yahoo Headlines, and Shibuya Keizai Shimbun. I do not have a lot of information about this so if you know anything additional, please let me know!

Introduction of Sweet Sakura
In 2009, Sweet Sakura made her appearance into the Care Bear Family. Designed by Elena, she is a symbol of the Japanese culture. Below are the pictures related to her release. Many of the other pictures from the Exhibition are very similar to the displays from the 2008 display.

Care Bear Festival
There are only a few different pictures for this festival, mostly consisting of products. The displays contained the same products from the "World of Care Bears" in 2008. I especially like the "Care Bear rooms" that were set up!

Care Bear Cousin Expo
June 8th, 2011 marked the first appearance of the Care Bear Cousins being marketed and sold in Japan. Nothing new was created for the Cousin line but there are a couple of nice pictures to share from the show.

This was the most recent of the Care Bear Fairs held in Japan and featured little items such as cell phone holders and key chains. Nothing highly different and I've been able to obtain very limited pictures. Enjoy what is here!
